Material Handler will work in a manufacturing environment and will interact with industrial equipment to produce a variety of products within a leading consumer goods company.

Material Handler Responsibilities:
  • Stage, deliver, prep, and load materials to the line.
  • Remove product from the line (scrap, intermediates, finished product).
  • Assist in proper product online testing and assist line during start-up shutdown.
  • Assist line set-up/ changeover (install/ removal/ store change parts).
  • Place items in storage racks (up to 4 high rack system) or as designated by product owner.
  • Clean-out/ clean-up the line and surrounding areas (including but not limited to filter changing, screen cleaning, etc.).
  • Monitor inventory of raw materials stored in pilot line facility and maintain an active list for ordering purposes.
  • Stack product on skid and packaging for internal and external shipping.
  • Adhere to all site safety and quality assurance protocols and trainings.
  • Retrieve and deliver raw material to designated line location for test stand using mobile equipment such as fork truck, pallet jacks, walkie, and straddle stacker.
  • Trash/broke removal on the line and disposed in proper identified location.

Material Handler Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a production/manufacturing environment or pilot plant.
  • Must be able to wear the necessary PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.).
  • Experience operating industrial equipment (e.g. forklift, crane, stand-up truck, etc.).
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must be capable of wearing a respirator.
