Quality Engineer will participate in direct quality activities in the area of capability studies, dimensional checks, material testing, product inspection, print changes, process and product documentation to ensure compliance with customer specifications. 

Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for all pre-production builds requiring components and/or services from the manufacturing site.
  • Work with team to develop processes, establish process documentation and controls, and plant training needs of the new project.
  • Assist with training of production personnel of processing and quality standards.
  •  Ensure product conforms to customer engineering standards.
  • Assist in implementing corrective action. Monitor and improve quality standards for production. Communicate back to the Manufacturing facility on current or potential quality issues.
  • Establish process controls, assist in training of new projects and buy-off on new / modified equipment and processes.
  • Support quality / dimensional control systems (i.e., X&R charts, gage studies, Six Sigma, dimensional capability studies).

Quality Engineer Requirements:
  • B.S in Engineering discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, etc. 
  • 3-8 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, OE, and Tier 1.
  • Blue print reading is required.
  • Less Than 1 Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment, establishing partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
