Senior Project Manager will lead engineering projects from concept to completion.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Support programs/projects that expand globally across multiple facilities.
  • Take ownership of managing key company-wide strategic launches for medical devices, overseeing all aspects of time, financial, and resource allocations.
  • Master project management tools, develop product specifications, coordinate project activities, develop project budgets and establish project timelines.
  • Develop and submit product compliance information to Document Control.
  • Demonstrate strong project management expertise by applying recognized tools to include the ability to: develop product specifications, coordinate project activities, and manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Cultivate and maintain existing customer relationships via on-site visits, phone conferences, etc.
  • Mentor fellow Project Engineers and Engineering Co-Op students as assigned.
  • Proactively Identify and submit continuous improvement opportunities.

Senior Project Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Electrical, Mechanical or Optical preferred.
  • 5-10+ years’ experience leading product development projects – lighting or medical device experience a plus.
  • CAPM or PMP certification a plus.
  • High-level understanding of project management tools, such as project charters, project plans, communication plans, and issue logs.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar CAD programs preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
