We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security and Fire Alarm Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be knowledgeable in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security and fire alarm systems. The Security and Fire Alarm Installation Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Security and Fire Alarm Technician Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot security and fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Conduct thorough site surveys to determine the optimal placement of alarm devices and equipment.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify their security needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Run wires and cables, mount devices, and connect equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Test and inspect installed systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with industry standards.
  • Train customers on how to operate and maintain the installed security and fire alarm systems.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers and colleagues as needed.
  • Keep accurate records of installed systems, maintenance activities, and service tickets.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Security and Fire Alarm Technician Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security and fire alarm systems.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of alarm system components and wiring.
  • Strong electrical skills and familiarity.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
