Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in fabric treatments, specifically for non-wovens and paper, at the corporate level within a renowned "Center of Excellence."
- Support site-level process engineers in resolving complex technical issues related to coatings for non-wovens, paper, tape, and similar materials.
- Utilize data analysis tools for analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to drive process improvements and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for coating processes.
- Develop and communicate clear and measurable performance expectations
- Partner with Technical Leaders at each plant to develop project plans aimed at closing performance gaps and achieving plant goals.
- Support new line vertical start-ups and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster connections with manufacturing, plant technical resources, and Business Center of Excellence Teams to influence results across Non-Wovens operations.
Process Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, specializing in coatings for non-wovens, paper, or similar materials.
- Expertise in fabric treatments and coatings processes for non-wovens, paper, tape, etc.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools for statistical process control (SPC) and process optimization.
- Ability to travel up to 75% and work effectively in a remote corporate setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide technical leadership for complex issues.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving results in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
