Marketing Specialist is responsible for project management and day-to-day workflow of internal clients’ campaigns, ensuring all work is produced on time, on budget and on strategy. 

Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Help lead internal and external creative teams
  • Coordinate with internal clients and other stakeholders of the creative process
Provide Direction and Guidance for Creative Development:
  • Operates as a liaison between creative development teams and internal clients
  • Manages the implementation of strategic integrated marketing communications initiatives on behalf of internal clients, including development of sales collateral, web content, digital marketing, tradeshow content, video, print, social media and content marketing
  • Ensures integration of messaging across all channels and tactics
  • Oversees, manages, and prioritizes project workflow from scoping/briefing to final execution
  • For key market segments served, maintains an awareness of trending topics, competitors’ products offerings, key product positioning, customer journeys, key customer problems/pain points and company marketing plans
Manage the Creative Process for Projects:
  • Working under the direction of the Account Services Director, secures the resources required (internal, external, or a combination) to deliver the creative product with excellence, cost efficiently, within the timeframe required
  • Facilitates the development of creative briefs that set direction for creative work; collaborate with stakeholders cross functionally on content and key messages (brand marketing, product marketing, market specialists and tactical experts)
  • Develops detailed project plans that include timing, tasks, milestones and key stakeholder touchpoints; manages stakeholders to deliver per project plan
  • Coordinates approvals throughout the creative process – foundational, creative conceptual approval and final approval of assets
  • Manages creative development, including concept options, copy, layout, and copy review
  • Works with clients and colleagues to establish project budgets – communicates scope, timing and/or budget changes to team members and key stakeholders, developing contingency plans as needed
  • Develops project status reports and manages regular team status meetings
  • Manages corporate marketing communication projects (e.g. LinkedIn Corporate page, About Us content for website(s), Sustainability Report)
  • Participates on brand development or marketing project teams
  • Organizes and manages special event(s)

Marketing Specialist Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising/Mass Communications, or related field
  • 2-3+ years of experience in marketing or agency environment
  • Marketing agency experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Cultivate innovation while driving results and having a customer focus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with workflow management software is a plus
