Logistics Clerk ?will oversee the tool room and central areas of the site while also working with outside vendors.

Logistics Clerk Responsibilities:
  • Check in/out all tools and maintain software.
  • Perform routine housekeeping task to maintain work area.
  • Comply and assist with all annual/monthly/daily inspections.
  • Work with outside vendor for all trucks maintenance
  • Inspection of all mobile equipment
  • Assign lockers for employees and contractors. Maintain up-to-date listing of locker assignments, and other data relevant to lockers.
  • Order employee outerwear and confirm that outerwear received is labeled 100% cotton or FR rated as required by Plant policy.
  • Work with vendor and employees to resolve issues around clothing turned in for cleaning.
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking for clothing issued to employees and contractors.
  • Review invoices for uniforms/mats/mops/towels for accuracy. Post SAP service entries for these invoices. Resolve all AP workflow issues with these invoices to ensure timely payment to vendor.

Logistics Clerk Requirements:
  • HS Diploma minimum, Associate’s or higher preferred
  • 2-3+ years experience in inventory management, customer service, or related areas
  • Effective communication
  • Knowledge of industrial tooling
  • Organization and time management.
  • Must have good aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting will all be part of this role.
  • May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
  • Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.
