Mold Finishing Technician Responsibilities
- Polishing aluminum molds to ensure smooth finishes.
- Sanding and applying sealer to polymer molds.
- Building crates, packaging items for shipment, and setting up shipments.
- Handling inbound shipments and distributing them within the facility.
- Making local pickups and deliveries.
- Managing shop supply material inventory on a weekly basis.
- Performing preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment and machinery.
- Documenting work instructions for activities.
- Experience in mold finishing, particularly with polishing aluminum molds.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating sanding equipment.
- General carpentry knowledge for crate building and packaging tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle varying tasks on short notice.
- Ability to operate forklifts (Forktrucks) is preferred.
