Circular Economy Process Technician will be tasked with collecting and organizing raw material samples for shipment to and from external vendors for testing. Process Techncian should be skilled in safely handling equipment for sample processing and possess the electro-mechanical expertise necessary to set up and run test equipment.

Circular Economy Process Technician Responsibilities:
  • Manage the preparation, cataloging, delivery, and shipment of raw material samples to internal and external partners
  • Prepare raw material samples for shipment to external vendors by gathering samples, dividing them into small quantities, performing particle sizing, and organizing shipment.
  • Operate particle sizing equipment (e.g., jar mills, ball mills, shredding machines) and catalog raw material retention samples for future reference
  • Ensure sample traceability and prevent contamination while strictly adhering to safety procedures and protocols.
  • Operating testing equipment to collect and accurately log raw material data, as well as performing bulk particle sizing analysis to measure particle density, size distribution, and other properties
  • Perform routine maintenance on instruments, machinery, and manage laboratory inventory of consumables.
  • Use hand and small power tools to build testing fixtures, acquiring materials for prototype equipment, and coordinating with the site safety team to ensure prototypes comply with safety standards
  • Work with site facilities and maintenance teams to arrange utilities for prototype operations and conducting experiments while collecting data using prototype equipment.

Circular Economy Process Technician Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Engineering
  • Exhibits safety-conscious behavior and independence in all processes
  • Team-oriented, energetic, and adept at relationship-building and collaboration in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
  • Skilled in organizing data, problem-solving, and adapting to change.
  • Creative in overcoming obstacles and committed to thorough documentation and knowledge sharing within the organization.
  • Experience in processing minerals or glass and familiarity with recycling processes and equipment, including grinding, sorting, separation, and bulk material handling is preferred
  • Technically skilled in electro-mechanical applications, with a background in constructing mechanical prototypes and handling fluids or hot gases. Also capable of safely supporting the circular economy team during plant trials.
