Structural Revit Drafter will assist in project design and plan preparation, review submittals, RFIs, and conduct site observations.

Structural Revit Drafter Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for preparation of clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings.
  • Knowledgeable in the design of structural systems including foundation (matt, pile, slab-on-grade), framing design, bearing wall, roof design, specialized systems, calculations, specification writing.
  • Utilizes knowledge of various architectural and engineering practices, construction techniques, building materials to complete drawings.
  • Undertakes a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering techniques for projects.
  • Adheres to Engineering CAD and BIM standards for all disciplines.
  • Makes recommendations for standards and drafting processes that improve quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Assists with collecting data for reports and correspondence.
  • Performs construction administration, drawing review, and response to RFI’s.

Structural Revit Drafter Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Applied Science from an ABET accredited college or university; Associates Degree (2-year) from a technical college or university; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years experience with Revit proficiency is required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, scheduling software, specification software, and standard business software (MS Office, Adobe suite, BlueBeam).
  • Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within AEC engineering.
  • Experience with concrete, tilt-up, wood, steel framed structures as well as low-rise and mid-rise, preferred.
  • Experience with RAM and Enercalc is required.
  • Experience with Woodworks, SAP2000 is a plus.
