$60-75/HR

CT Technologist will operate Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce Diagnostic C.T. Scans and diagnostic radiographs, under indirect supervision.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.
  • Evaluates images with Radiologist, takes additional images as needed or requested.
  • Assists with procedures of an invasive nature.
  • Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow

CT Technologist Requirements:
  • ARRT and BLS Certifications Required
  • Formal Education Required:
    • Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
    • Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
  • Experience & Training Required:
    • One (1) year Radiology Technology experience preferred.
    • CT Registry preferred
  • Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, apply and adjust restraining devices and administer intravenous injections of contrast.
    • Ability to communicate verbally with patients, physicians and other hospital employees.
    • Ability to lift and position patients.
    • Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures.
    • Ability to utilize computer system and file system to facilitate patient records.
    • Ability to initiate CPR and (CPR Certification).
  • Population Specific Competency:
    • Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
  • Level of Physical Demands:
    • Heavy: Exerts 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or ten to 20 pounds of force continuously to move objects
