Bilingual Communications Associate (Spanish)
Remote (Must be willing to work 8:30 – 5:00 EST or CST hours)

Bilingual Communications Associate translates and proofreads a wide range of written projects for external and internal audiences.

Bilingual Communications Associate Responsibilities:
  • Works with internal clients on facilitating translation of written content, e.g., flyers, letters, emails, presentations.
  • Translates content into Spanish and also proofreads content translated by third-party vendors.
  • Handles relations with internal customers and external translation vendors in an efficient, professional manner.
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
  • Follows established guidelines/procedures.
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.

Bilingual Communications Associate Requirements:
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish: ability to read, write, speak fluently without limitations or assistance
    • Language test will be required
  • Basic Adobe InDesign skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including exceptional grammar skills in Spanish
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Able to organize and re-organize work according to changing priorities
  • Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Bilingual Communications Associate Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, minor/major in Spanish
  • Previous experience as writer/editor/journalist/translator in Spanish
  • Experience partnering with and managing external vendors
  • Project management experience
