The Angiography Technician role ensures the safe and efficient operation of the diagnostic imaging department by performing a wide variety of imaging procedures while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Technicians provide age-specific care for patients from neonates to geriatrics and are responsible for upholding compliance with ACR/ODH standards and ensuring readiness for annual inspections.

Angiography Technician Job Description
The Angiography Technician role ensures the safe and efficient operation of the diagnostic imaging department by performing a wide variety of imaging procedures while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Technicians provide age-specific care for patients from neonates to geriatrics and are responsible for upholding compliance with ACR/ODH standards and ensuring readiness for annual inspections.
Angiography Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic angiographic procedures within the scope of ARRT credentialing
- Deliver patient care in a safe, compassionate, and professional manner
- Maintain compliance with ACR/ODH standards, including documentation and QC testing
- Educate staff and physicians on equipment operation and procedural standards
- Support departmental operations through coordination, leadership, and teamwork
- Participate in continuing education and remain compliant with registry requirements
- Follow hospital policies regarding PHI, Code of Conduct, and workplace procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- ARRT Certification required
- Prior angiography or diagnostic imaging experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of ACR/ODH standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to provide age-specific care across a wide range of patient populations
- Effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills
