Application Solutions Engineer Job Description:
The Application Solutions Engineer supports the Firm’s enterprise applications with a primary focus on developing and maintaining business intake and workflow solutions in Intapp Open. This role designs workflows, integrates systems, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to improve firmwide processes. It also supports broader application platforms as part of the Applications Development team.

Application Solutions Engineer Job Description:
The Application Solutions Engineer supports the Firm’s enterprise applications with a primary focus on developing and maintaining business intake and workflow solutions in Intapp Open. This role designs workflows, integrates systems, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to improve firmwide processes. It also supports broader application platforms as part of the Applications Development team.
Application Solutions Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Intapp Open workflows, forms, and business rules (Intake, Conflicts, Terms).
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ongoing support for Intapp solutions.
- Integrate Intapp with financial systems (e.g., Aderant), Active Directory, and internal databases.
- Document configurations, custom components, and system design.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Stay current on Intapp updates and best practices.
- Support other enterprise applications and cross-platform integrations as needed.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and knowledge base documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support.
Application Solutions Engineer Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Intapp Open (5+ years) and Intapp Integration Builder (IIB).
- Proficiency in XML, SQL, PowerShell, and API integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms.
- Understanding of workflow automation and law firm onboarding/compliance processes.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
