The Architectural Sales Support will contribute to the sales growth by supporting customers and the sales team in pursuit of growth across high-performance sealants and coatings product lines. 

Architectural Sales Support Responsibilities:
 
  • Support the development and execution of a national architectural sales plan to accelerate commercial growth.
  • Build strong relationships and act as the main point of contact for architects, engineers, consultants, and key clients.
  • Address inquiries related to building systems, specifications, timelines, and product capabilities.
  • Assist with lead vetting, proposal preparation, quotes, presentations, and lunch-and-learn events.
  • Enter and track technical or lab-related requests; communicate results and coordinate project drawing reviews.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the product portfolio and collaborate with project stakeholders to define requirements and ensure accurate specifications.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of sales activities, client communications, and project updates in CRM systems.
  • Provide basic technical assistance regarding features, installation processes, and industry-standard compliance.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitive offerings, and client feedback to support strategic decisions.
  • Partner with marketing, engineering, and production teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Support increased specification share within residential and commercial segments through relationship-building efforts.
  • Travel to visit key customers, attend tradeshows, and participate in industry association events.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports on project and specification activity, including recommendations for creative solutions.

Architectural Sales Support Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 0–3 years of experience; interest or passion for the construction industry required.
  • Familiarity with the architectural specification process is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and improve outcomes.
  • Achievement-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting goals.
  • Ability to clearly articulate product performance and competitive differences.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and respond with urgency when needed.
