Assembly Associate

The Assembly Associate is responsible for performing electro-mechanical assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment. This role requires the ability to read blueprints, bills of materials, and calibration specifications, as well as the mechanical aptitude to accurately build and test products under the direction of Assembly Leads. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and willing to cross-train across multiple product lines. Consistent attendance, quality output, and steady work pace are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble a variety of electro-mechanical products using blueprints, bills of materials, and calibration specifications.
- Rotate and work in different production work cells as needed.
- Maintain strong attendance, quality, and productivity standards.
- Perform light material-handling tasks when required.
- Follow plant safety procedures and identify potential safety concerns.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in an electro-mechanical assembly or production environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in soldering, blueprint reading, and understanding test/calibration specifications.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, warehouse, and quality control.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs. with assistance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong work ethic and adaptability in a rapidly growing organization.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (highly preferred).
