Position Overview
The Brand Manager – Consumer Health Focus is responsible for developing, establishing, and achieving both the short- and long-term brand objectives and strategies within the Consumer Health portfolio. This role oversees brand performance to ensure financial commitments are met while building and protecting brand equity. The Brand Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage external agency partners, and may oversee associate and/or senior associate brand managers. Success in this position requires strong strategic thinking, consumer insight, analytical acumen, and the ability to lead purpose-driven, integrated marketing campaigns that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans, budgets, and long-term financial strategies to achieve brand volume, profit, and spending objectives.
  • Oversee execution of brand strategies, ensuring top-line sales and bottom-line profitability goals are met through collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Partner with the Innovation Director and Managers to develop and execute a 3–5 year new product development (NPD) strategy that aligns with overall brand objectives.
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct and indirect reports, ensuring clear performance expectations and balanced workload delegation.
  • Allocate resources effectively to optimize brand performance, anticipate risks, and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Lead multiple external agencies and consultants in the creation of consumer and professional marketing campaigns consistent with brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including R&D, Technical Operations, Market Research, Sales, Consumer Promotion, and Supply Chain—to execute brand initiatives.
  • Support long-term strategic brand plans that deliver on financial goals while protecting brand equity and enhancing overall brand health.

Education & Experience
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in brand management, preferably within a CPG or healthcare environment.
  • Preferred: MBA with 3+ years of relevant experience in CPG or healthcare brand management.

P&L Management:
