Business Analyst – SAP
Santa Ana, CA

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for supporting capital spending activities and SAP processes during a new manufacturing facility startup. This role manages the capital purchase order lifecycle, partners with cross-functional teams to support system deployment, and coordinates capital spending activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the SAP capital expenditure (CAPEX) purchase order process from purchase order creation through goods receipt.
  • Partner with cross-functional project teams and key stakeholders to support SAP deployment and implementation activities for a new manufacturing site.
  • Coordinate and oversee capital purchase order activities within the capital spending system to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support day-to-day operational and project requirements.
  • Support change management activities related to capital projects, including purchase order updates, pricing adjustments, processing, and evaluating cost and schedule impacts.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams on capital spending activities and vendor negotiations.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by supporting safety initiatives, accident prevention, incident investigations, equipment maintenance, and compliance with established safety policies and procedures.
  • Identify, assess, and help mitigate operational risks associated with assigned projects and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two or more years of experience working with SAP in a production, purchasing, procurement, or related manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing purchase orders and capital spending processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
