Buyer Analyst Responsibilities:
- Coordinate schedules and materials planning activities to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Identify improvement projects and efficiency initiatives within the planning area; drive detailed plans to completion.
- Develop alternative solutions to address supply shortfalls impacting internal or external customers.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for persistent materials or supply issues.
- Independently resolve complex procurement challenges using sound financial, operational, and business judgment.
- Maintain and optimize SAP planning parameters for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Utilize appropriate delegation to enhance the team’s effectiveness and broaden influence across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with department leadership, internal employees, Product Supply teams, and other business units.
Buyer Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS required).
- 5+ years of total professional experience, including at least 3 years in a Product Supply discipline.
- Proficiency in SAP across various modules.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
- Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and influence others across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage highly complex projects with minimal direction.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous conditions.
- Experience improving processes and driving operational efficiency.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and independent decision-making.
