The Chemical Material Technician supports daily production by safely handling materials, assisting with washroom operations, and supporting warehouse activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Chemical Material Technician Responsibilities
- Work in the washroom to clean and manage glass materials used in production processes
- Learn and follow proper washroom procedures before transitioning into warehouse operations
- Pull and prepare materials needed for blending and production processes
- Handle chemicals safely, including pulling, measuring, and pouring materials as required
- Operate warehouse equipment such as a tow motor to move materials throughout the facility
- Support material handling and staging within the warehouse
- Follow all safety policies and procedures when handling chemicals and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to support production needs
- Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance
Chemical Material Technician Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license required
- No prior experience required; training will be provided
- Ability to work safely in an environment that involves chemicals and glass materials
- Willingness to learn washroom and warehouse operations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
- Willingness to work weekends if needed
