Position Responsibilities:
- Optimize CNC work centers, set-up, and operation.
- Offer suggestions for modifying programs for increased efficiency.
- Verify completed programs by running simulations or tests.
- Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per drawings, travelers, Plant Manager.
- Notify Lead Machinist or managemet of needed tooling or fixturing.
- Program for the ability to run lights out.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assemble machines as needed
- Perform duties of QA tech as necessary
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proven mechanical comprehension.
- Ability to use and read measuring tools and devices as necessary for inspection of machined parts.
- Experience programming and machining on Fanuc, Haas controls.
- Work with little or no supervision throughout shift.
- Good Communication Skills
- Interpersonal Skills
