CT Tech 
Dayton, OH 

Nights- Weekends 

The CT Tech independently performs computed tomography procedures utilizing proper techniques and the administration of contrast media. The CT Tech works within their scope of practice to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while coordinating patient flow and maintaining efficient CT department operations. 

CT Tech Responsibilities: 
• Independently perform CT examinations utilizing proper imaging techniques and protocols. 
• Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with licensure, certification, and departmental policies. 
• Perform venipuncture procedures as required for contrast administration. 
• Coordinate patient flow and daily activities of the CT scanner to ensure efficient operations. 
• Exercise professional judgment to maintain imaging equipment in proper working condition and identify equipment concerns. 
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout all imaging procedures. 
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. 
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. 
• Perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed based on departmental requirements. 
• Participate in on-call coverage and work assigned weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as scheduled. 

CT Tech Qualifications: 

• Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related Allied Health field. 

• ARRT RT(R) certification  

• CT certification/registry  

• Current ODH licensure  

• Current CPR certification  

• Experience performing CT procedures and administering contrast media. 

• Knowledge of CT imaging equipment, patient positioning, and radiation safety practices. 

• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills. 

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 

• Must be available to work every other holiday.
