Job Summary

Job Summary

Collaborate across departments to maintain secure, stable, and efficient technology operations while supporting business systems, compliance initiatives, cybersecurity programs, and end-user support activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
PLANNING:
- Lead implementation and adherence to IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity standards regulated by corporate requirements, SOX Compliance, ITAR Compliance, NIST Cybersecurity controls, and CMMC requirements.
- Assist with evaluation and implementation of operational improvements, cybersecurity enhancements, and system support processes.
- Support technology lifecycle management, patching initiatives, access reviews, and cybersecurity awareness efforts.
- Provide day-to-day operational IT support for users, business systems, infrastructure, and manufacturing operations.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange/O365, endpoint management systems, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Support ERP systems and ancillary applications including Infor XA (Mapics) and related manufacturing systems.
- Monitor and maintain cybersecurity tools, endpoint protection systems, MFA platforms, backup solutions, and security monitoring systems.
- Assist with vulnerability remediation efforts, security investigations, phishing response activities, and incident response coordination.
- Maintain system availability and operational continuity through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, patch management, and issue resolution.
- Lead compliance initiatives related to NIST, CMMC, DFARS, SOX, and ITAR requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal departments regarding operational support, cybersecurity support, system issues, telecommunications, hardware, and software support needs.
- Maintain laptops, workstations, mobile devices, tablets, phones, printers, and peripheral hardware.
- Support IT governance initiatives and participate in corporate IT coordination activities as required.
- Promote continuous improvement through identification of process inefficiencies, operational risks, and technology enhancement opportunities.
- Support operations during non-business hours and weekends as needed.
- Complies and conducts business in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Promote ethical behavior by acting with honesty and integrity
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Education & Experience
EDUCATION: 4-year college degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Technical degree or equivalent experience required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3–5 years of IT operations, systems administration, or cybersecurity support experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience supporting Microsoft environments, networking, endpoint management, and cybersecurity tools.
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks including NIST, CMMC, SOX, DFARS, and ITAR preferred.
- Experience supporting ERP systems and manufacturing business applications preferred.
- Microsoft 365 / Exchange administration
- Active Directory and user administration
- Endpoint management and device support
- ERP systems in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of Infor XA / Mapics preferred
- Firewalls, networking fundamentals, and VPN technologies
- Security monitoring and endpoint protection platforms
- Backup and recovery solutions
- Security awareness and training programs
- Patch management and vulnerability remediation
- General infrastructure and operational support
- Security controls and cybersecurity best practices
