Dispensing Pharmacist
West Chester Township, OH
2nd Shift | Sunday–Thursday | 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
The Dispensing Pharmacist is responsible for accurately reviewing, verifying, and dispensing prescription medications in a high-volume pharmacy environment. This role ensures quality assurance standards are met while collaborating with the pharmacy team to provide safe, timely, and efficient patient care.
Dispensing Pharmacist Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications.
- Perform final quality assurance checks prior to medication shipment.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and medication tracking records.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and healthcare providers to resolve prescription-related issues.
- Utilize pharmacy systems and technology to support efficient workflow and patient safety.
- Provide exceptional patient-focused service while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Dispensing Pharmacist Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license required.
- Eligible to participate in Federal prescription programs.
- Strong computer, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
