 The East Region Sales Director is responsible for leading business growth and market strategy across the Eastern U.S. within the building materials and construction products industry. This individual will oversee sales performance, channel partnerships, and customer engagement to drive revenue and profitability.
 East Region Sales Director Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on growth within OEM, construction, and building system markets.
- Lead all aspects of customer engagement, including strategic account management, contract negotiation, and relationship development with executive decision-makers.
- Identify, recruit, and manage regional sales representatives and distribution partners to ensure market coverage and consistent messaging.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales and margin objectives while identifying new business opportunities in target markets.
- Maintain a strong technical understanding of product offerings to effectively communicate performance benefits and application suitability.
- Collaborate with marketing and product management teams to develop promotional materials, sales tools, and targeted campaigns.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify competitive trends, pricing dynamics, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and on-site technical demonstrations.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory updates to leadership.
- Travel extensively (approximately 60%) across the U.S. and Canada to meet with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business-to-business sales, preferably within construction materials, building systems, or OEM manufacturing.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving regional growth.
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills with experience overseeing channel partners or distributors.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and effective in a remote work environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time across the assigned region.
