The Electrical Engineering Team Leader will guide a team developing advanced ultrasound-based measurement and metrology products. This leadership role requires strong expertise in high-frequency analog electronics, product development, and the transition of engineered products from R&D into manufacturing.
Electrical Engineering Team Leader Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of electrical engineers, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Direct the concept development, design, validation, and release of ultrasound-based metrology and measurement instruments.
  • Apply strong electrical engineering fundamentals, including high-frequency behavior (100 MHz+) of transistors, RF amplifiers, passive components, filters, and related analog circuitry.
  • Develop subject-matter expertise in ultrasound technology and its industrial applications.
  • Support market and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and product opportunities.
  • Help define new-product requirements, technical specifications, and development roadmaps.
  • Lead and contribute directly to product innovation, new-product development, and existing-product improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and cross-functional stakeholders to successfully transfer products from R&D into production.
  • Manage R&D priorities, staffing, project schedules, and budgets to achieve program objectives.
  • Ensure products meet applicable industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
Electrical Engineering Team Leader Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • 10+ years of hands-on electronic design and product-development experience.
  • 5+ years of engineering team leadership, supervisory, or technical-management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams while maintaining strong communication and interpersonal relationships.
  • Experience developing high-reliability electronic products.
  • Strong knowledge of high-frequency analog and RF circuit-design techniques.
  • Demonstrated analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, with a drive for innovation.
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical leadership with project, resource, timeline, and budget accountability.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent-resident status required.
