Electronics Testing Technician
Akron, OH

 

The Electronics Testing Technician will assist with lab testing and performs lab support activities under supervision of Scientists and Engineers. They will test and troubleshoot  the electrical components of dispensers.

Electronics Testing Technician Responsibilities:

  • Ability to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documentation.
  • Ability to preform basic soldering skills with PCBs.
  • Executes auto-pumper testing.
  • Performs essential job duties as defined by lab.
  • Utilizes LIMS to record experiments and results.
  • Communicates timing of project work.
  • Maintains equipment and records including daily performance checks and cleaning. Completes simple maintenance of instruments and tools.
  • Cleans and maintains lab space.
  • Complies with safety policies. Follows safe work processes, and notifies appropriate personnel of safety issues observed.
  • May serve as EPA GLP personnel.

Electronics Testing Technician Requirements:
  • Minimum of a High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • A solid understanding of at least basic electronics theory.
  • Familiarity in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and technical documentation a plus.
  • Basic soldering skills with PCBs.
