Epic Analyst

, OhioEpic Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and support of Epic applications to ensure efficient and reliable operation of clinical and business systems. This role bridges the gap between end users, technical teams, and operational leadership to optimize workflows and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and clinical workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Configure, build, and maintain Epic modules according to best practices and organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, validate system changes, and document outcomes.
- Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution in partnership with IT and end users.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Deliver end-user training and develop supporting documentation.
- Maintain system integrity, compliance, and adherence to security and privacy standards.
- Stay current with Epic updates, industry trends, and regulatory requirements to proactively recommend enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Epic certification in one or more modules preferred.
- 2+ years of experience supporting or implementing Epic systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
