Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:
- Support fermenter operations including sterilization, inoculation, growth monitoring, and cleaning.
- Operate autoclaves and conduct sample analyses using standard lab equipment.
- Maintain accurate lab records and assist with documentation.
- Perform glassware prep, assemblies, and basic lab maintenance.
- Work occasional weekend shifts for sampling and monitoring.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 0–5 years of lab experience (entry-level encouraged).
- Strong science background and interest in fermentation processes.
- Familiarity with basic lab techniques and equipment; comfort with hand tools a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
