Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites (primarily domestic).
- Assemble gearboxes, drive units, shafts, keys, couplings, and bushings.
- Perform close tolerance assemblies (+/- 0.002”).
- Check and adjust alignments of mechanical systems.
- Bend hydraulic tubing (preferred skill).
- Assemble and crimp hydraulic hoses, work with hydraulic pumps, manifolds, and valves.
- Perform hand drilling, tapping, reaming, and dowel pin installation.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, prints, and diagrams.
- Understand and apply tolerances and alignments to ensure proper fit and function.
- High School Diploma
- 2-3 years of machine repair experience.
- Travelling experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
