The Graphic Designer will develop creative concepts and execute visual strategies across multiple consumer touchpoints, including packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, social media, digital experiences, and in-store displays. The ideal candidate combines strong graphic design fundamentals with an understanding of brand identity, digital design, and consumer-focused ideation. This role will collaborate closely with creative, product, marketing, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, brand-consistent work. The designer will be responsible for bringing concepts to life from initial ideation through final execution while balancing creativity, business needs, technical requirements, and deadlines.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts and visual designs across packaging, promotional materials, eCommerce, social media, digital platforms, and in-store displays.
- Ensure all designs consistently and creatively follow brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Create layouts, illustrations, mockups, prototypes, design systems, and digital assets for print and online use.
- Apply strong graphic design principles, typography, composition, color, and brand identity skills.
- Collaborate with UX/Product Designers, engineers, marketing teams, and other cross-functional partners to bring concepts to life.
- Design digital UI deliverables, including mockups, clickable prototypes, development assets, and simple animations.
- Communicate and confidently justify creative decisions while effectively giving and receiving feedback.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail and ensure high-quality, technically feasible designs within deadlines.
- Stay current on beauty industry trends, consumer needs, competitive activity, and emerging AI-enabled design tools.
- Requirements: BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field, 2–6 years of professional design experience, a strong portfolio, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work onsite Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM in Cincinnati, OH.
Graphic Designer Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- 2–6 years of full-time professional graphic design experience; freelance experience alone does not qualify.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, brand identity, storytelling, independent ideation, problem-solving, and technical design skills.
- Strong passion for beauty and an understanding of beauty category trends and the competitive landscape.
- Experience designing for digital, packaging, and in-store displays, with a basic understanding of print production and feasibility.
- Intermediate UI design skills and a solid understanding of UI design principles.
- Knowledge of UI research concepts, including competitive analysis, A/B testing, and accessibility.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled creative and design tools.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, layout, imagery, and visual communication.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
