The HR Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the Human Resources function. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on HR metrics to enhance workforce planning, employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. The HR Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the Human Resources function. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on HR metrics to enhance workforce planning, employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. The HR Data Analyst partners closely with HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure HR strategies align with business objectives
HR Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data related to recruitment, turnover, compensation, performance, and employee engagement
- Develop, maintain, and enhance HR dashboards and recurring leadership reports
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support continuous improvement of HR processes and policies
- Support workforce planning and forecasting initiatives
- Draft, revise, and distribute HR policies and procedures as needed
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within HR systems
- Collaborate with HR team members to improve reporting capabilities and increase effective data usage
- Monitor compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Participate in HR initiatives and projects including diversity, talent management, and organizational development efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR analytics or a related analytical role
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data visualization tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or Tableau
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to leadership
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience using SQL or other data query languages preferred
- Exposure to predictive analytics and workforce modeling preferred
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent is a plus
