This role partners with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, source and attract top talent, coordinate the hiring process, build talent pipelines, and support onboarding while ensuring compliance with employment laws and delivering an excellent candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly, skilled trades, technical, and professional positions, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, establish hiring priorities, develop recruiting strategies, and manage hiring timelines.
- Develop compelling job postings and leverage internal and external recruiting channels to attract qualified candidates.
- Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, community partnerships, educational institutions, military transition programs, and other sourcing methods.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs, with a focus on high-volume and hard-to-fill positions.
- Conduct resume reviews, phone screenings, behavioral-based interviews, and candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and organizational fit.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and facilitate communication between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
- Document candidate evaluations, interview feedback, hiring decisions, and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Prepare and extend employment offers in collaboration with hiring managers and Human Resources leadership while maintaining internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks, employment verification, drug screenings, onboarding documentation, and new hire communications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruiting partners, staffing agencies, workforce development organizations, colleges, technical schools, veterans' organizations, and community groups.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, hiring events, career expos, and community outreach initiatives to strengthen the employer brand and attract top talent.
- Support recruiting initiatives for manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, engineering, skilled trades, and corporate functions as business needs require.
- Monitor recruiting performance metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate pipeline health, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and other key talent acquisition indicators.
- Analyze recruiting data and labor market trends to recommend process improvements, enhance sourcing strategies, and improve overall hiring effectiveness.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations, affirmative action requirements, and company policies.
- Assist with employment authorization, visa sponsorship, and immigration-related processes in partnership with Human Resources and external immigration counsel, when applicable.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality while providing exceptional customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and business partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, production, distribution, logistics, engineering, or other high-volume environments.
- Experience recruiting hourly production employees, material handlers, warehouse personnel, maintenance technicians, skilled trades, engineering, and professional positions.
- Demonstrated success developing sourcing strategies, interviewing candidates, negotiating offers, and managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Experience planning and participating in job fairs, hiring events, college recruiting, and community outreach initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple recruiting activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, recruiting best practices, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and professionalism.
