Human Resources Generalist will provide leadership to deliver human capital strategies that enhance business performance, drive workforce engagement, lead change initiatives, and manage various HR functions including payroll, benefits, and company events.
Key Responsibilities:
General Administration & Leadership
- Oversee daily administrative operations across the company, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to corporate policies.
- Manage employees and provide oversight into their daily responsibilities, including providing mentoring, leadership, and performance oversight.
- Partner with leadership to support strategic planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and long-term operational goals.
- Identify and resolve administrative issues and challenges.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments and stakeholders, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Lead HR practices and strategy, including onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
- Provide guidance to managers and members on HR best practices, legal compliance, and employee development.
- Manage HR staff and external consultants/vendors.
- Coach leaders and employees to drive performance, accountability, and engagement.
- Lead core HR functions including talent acquisition, development, retention, and employee relations.
- Oversee HR systems and use data to improve HR performance.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, employee recognition, and wellness initiatives.
- Lead plant engagement and safety teams; contribute to company-wide HR initiatives.
Facilities and Records Management
- Ensure physical security, workplace safety, and efficient office services (e.g., reception, conference room logistics).
- Plan and execute management and employee events and other high-level leadership meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required. Experience in a senior role at a professional organization.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership position within an administrative function is essential.
- Strong leadership and management skills: Ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including performance management, compensation, recruiting, payroll, career planning, and employee relations.
- Proven ability to drive change, coach leaders, and balance business and employee needs.
- Excellent attention to detail and seeing projects through to completion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems like Paycor.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to identify problems, analyze situations, and develop effective solutions.
