Inventory Control Associate Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Associate with one of our leading manufacturing Fortune 500 clients in Joliet, IL. The Inventory Control Associate will report into the Finance Manager while splitting time in an office environment and in the warehouse, assisting in managing warehouse inventory.

Inventory Control Associate Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Associate with one of our leading manufacturing Fortune 500 clients in Joliet, IL. The Inventory Control Associate will report into the Finance Manager while splitting time in an office environment and in the warehouse, assisting in managing warehouse inventory.
Inventory Control Associate Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical and support tasks to ensure that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel
- Under supervision, assist with physical inventory counts and reconciling results with inventory records
- Investigate inventory overages/shortages, cycle count discrepancies, and locate missing inventory
- Ensure that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct
- Assist with processing Shipped in Error (SIE) claims and investigations as well as Dealer Returns
- Provide backup and assistance with other Inventory Control duties as needed
- Assist with Pick Exceptions/Inventory Shortages throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree and at least 1 year of materials management experience
OR - At least 2 years of materials management experience
- MS Office experience
- Strong Effective Interpersonal Communication Skills
- Data Entry
- Conflict Management
- Ability to Prioritize and Handle Multiple Tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable with escalated heights
- Must be comfortable being trained to drive a Cherry Picker
- Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management Software (MWS) or TOLAS System are a plus
