Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented technician support research operations at our greenhouse facility.. This position plays a vital role in advancing agricultural innovation by maintaining high-quality plant growth environments and supporting day-to-day greenhouse activities in a safe, compliant, and collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pollination tasks including tassel and shoot bagging in corn pollination rooms.
- Transport large plants to designated rooms and specific locations using carts and tugs.
- Maintain greenhouse sanitation by discarding regulated materials and cleaning work areas.
- Assist with general plant care tasks such as pruning cotton and monitoring plant health.
- Ensure all activities comply with company safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of daily work and contribute to a professional, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and demonstrate a strong safety mindset in daily work.
