The Laboratory Technician will support the Fate & Metabolism Laboratory in the development and registration of new agricultural products. This role is responsible for executing laboratory studies, generating analytical data, and maintaining compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards to support product commercialization and regulatory submissions
 
Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:

The Laboratory Technician will support the Fate & Metabolism Laboratory in the development and registration of new agricultural products. This role is responsible for executing laboratory studies, generating analytical data, and maintaining compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards to support product commercialization and regulatory submissions
Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, conducting, and reporting studies to support product registration for drinking water treatment testing
- Perform laboratory testing and data generation in accordance with study director guidance
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including balances, centrifuges, gas chromatographs (GC), high performance liquid chromatographs (HPLC), mass spectrometers (MS), and water treatment instruments
- Collaborate with equipment owners and Lab Operations to ensure system performance and minimize downtime
- Adhere strictly to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) policies and testing protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain neat, accurate, and complete documentation in compliance with EPA GLP standards and other regulatory requirements
- Work cross-functionally with Regulatory Science, Fate & Metabolism, Regulatory Analytical, and MSCOE teams to ensure effective project execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical laboratory experience with an understanding of GLP regulations and laboratory safety procedures
- Proficiency in operating analytical instrumentation (GC, HPLC, MS)
- Solid computer skills and ability to follow detailed testing protocols
- Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and safety awareness
