Logistics Coordinator Overview:
Coordinate and facilitate the shipment of goods from the production facility. This includes working with various stakeholders (production, customer service, planning, etc.) to ensure appropriate production measures are taken to meet the shipping requirements. Must manage bills of lading, invoices, orders, trucking companies and data entry through various software interfaces.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• Associate’s in Business, Supply Chain or a related technical field with 1-3 years related experience.
• Must be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite programs,
particularly Excel.
• Experience working in a union environment.
• Able to create and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers.
• Ability to work in highly collaborative and team based objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with customers, and members of management via the phone, e-mail and other written and verbal communication mediums

Logistics Coordinator Overview:
Coordinate and facilitate the shipment of goods from the production facility. This includes working with various stakeholders (production, customer service, planning, etc.) to ensure appropriate production measures are taken to meet the shipping requirements. Must manage bills of lading, invoices, orders, trucking companies and data entry through various software interfaces.
Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Maintaining solid internal customer relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
- Determining method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of customers, shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Prepares daily shipments with all pertinent paper work and labels and compares information on counts, weights, measurements for outbound shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records. Will utilize Oracle, Vista and Excel
- Contacts trucking companies for daily transportation
- Reviews shipping details with Plant team members daily
- Produces international invoices and mailings
- Supplies freight forwarders with the necessary paper work (SLI’s and Commercial Invoices)
- Maintains the shipping files
- Manage relationship with logistics providers
- Prepare and present shipping details upon request
- Assist Customer Service Representative?
- Record any measurable statistics which your position impacts such as production expenses, maintenance expenses, sales volumes, payroll costs, capital expenditures, research budgets, cost of purchases, value of inventories controlled, employees supervised (direct and indirect).
