Seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a high-performing Maintenance Supervisor ready to step into broader leadership, ownership, and strategic responsibility. You will oversee equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and a small team, while partnering cross-functionally to drive uptime, safety, and continuous improvement.

Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
  • Lead day-to-day maintenance operations, including scheduling, troubleshooting, and team coordination
  • Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians; build bench strength within the team
  • Own and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment
  • Partner with production to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal disruption
  • Manage outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects
  • Track KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR) and drive data-based improvements
  • Support capital projects, equipment installs, and facility upgrades
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and support cost control initiatives

Maintenance Manager Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5–s of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1–3+ years of leadership experience (Maintenance Lead or Supervisor level)
  • Strong troubleshooting capability across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems (CMMS preferred)
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and automated equipment (troubleshooting level)
  • Proven ability to lead from the floor while developing a team
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with production leadership
