Overview:
Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure. This includes mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, install new equipment, and support the ongoing reliability and safety of all facility operations.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment.
  • Install new machinery, wiring, conduit, and components as needed.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Fabricate, service, and rebuild mechanical parts, pumps, and gearboxes.
  • Maintain tool room organization, spare parts inventory, and accurate maintenance records.
  • Conduct general facility maintenance including plumbing, painting, and light groundskeeping.
  • Perform maintenance on forklifts and other lift equipment.
  • Follow written safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Regularly communicate with team members, vendors, and contractors to coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and overall plant reliability

Maintenance Technician Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or electrical/mechanical training a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, including experience with PLC systems, wiring, drives, pumps, and motors.
  • Working knowledge of 24V DC, 110V, 240V single phase, and 480V three phase systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Skilled in pneumatics, hydraulics, welding (MIG/Arc), and fabrication.
  • Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50–75 lbs and occasionally heavier objects with assistance.
  • Proficient use of measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel. #INDCRS
