The Maintenance Technician will be involved in the upkeep, repair, and adjustment of industrial machinery to allow for the daily running of the production process. Additionally, they will communicate with management regarding any problems that arise and assist in the planning of maintenance procedures.

The Maintenance Technician will be involved in the upkeep, repair, and adjustment of industrial machinery to allow for the daily running of the production process. Additionally, they will communicate with management regarding any problems that arise and assist in the planning of maintenance procedures.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and implement planned maintenance procedures.
- Conduct electrical installations and maintenance (120V and 480V throughout the plant).
- Perform plumbing installations and maintenance using industrial stainless steel and PVC piping systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, including progressive cavity pumps (Moyno brand), diaphragm pumps, rotor and feeder systems, mixers, conveyors, filler machines (~s old), and lifter machines (~35–s old).
- Maintain and repair boilers.
- Manage inventory of maintenance items, including piping, hardware, pumps, and related components.
- Troubleshoot packaging and production lines; provide backup support for changeovers and train other employees on proper procedures.
- Perform general shipping, receiving, and warehouse support as needed.
- Service and calibrate automated and manual valves.
- Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Industrial maintenance expertise.
- Knowledge of industrial electricity (single and three-phase) and plumbing.
- Boiler trades and HVAC experience.
- Industrial instrumentation programming and maintenance.
- Welding experience is highly valued.
- Hydraulics & pneumatics.
- Rigging and millwright trades.
- General carpentry skills.
- Computer skills for automation and data entry.
- Experience with pumps (progressive cavity, diaphragm) preferred; training can be provided for transferable skills.
- Conveyor troubleshooting, cleaning, and roller replacement experience.
- Ability to support packaging line changeovers and train others.
- Tow motor/forklift experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing 50–75 lbs.
- Fine motor skills to handle small tools and components.
- Strong sense of balance for working at elevations or near moving machinery.
- Ability to climb and descend ladders and platforms.
- Ability to perform work overhead, at waist, and floor-level heights.
- Flexibility to crouch, kneel, bend, or squat while working on equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for the majority of the shift.
- Ability to operate, test, and run equipment to ensure maintenance tasks are completed successfully.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including hot, cold, noisy, dusty, or strong odor environments.
- Ability to utilize hearing, vision, touch, and smell to evaluate operating machinery and equipment.
