The Maintenance Technician will provide support for production operations and lead complex maintenance activities with the assistance of other team members. They will also mentor junior technicians to help develop their skills and strengthen the overall capabilities of the maintenance department

The Maintenance Technician will provide support for production operations and lead complex maintenance activities with the assistance of other team members. They will also mentor junior technicians to help develop their skills and strengthen the overall capabilities of the maintenance department
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and standard shop machinery
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, service manuals, and interconnect drawings
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, including motion controls and sensors
- Conduct preventative maintenance, adjustments, and alignments to ensure equipment reliability
- Overhaul and service components such as hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders, pumps, valves, and motion elements
- Lead and support maintenance projects while mentoring junior team members
- Prioritize and respond to equipment outages quickly and effectively
- Complete required documentation accurately and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Work in confined spaces, follow OSHA safety guidelines, and flexibly support various shifts and overtime as needed
- Industrial Maintenance experience required
- 2 years of technical training or 5+ years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge in one or more skilled maintenance disciplines, such as: complex mechanical devices and systems, electrical controls and electronics, PLC programming and troubleshooting, sensors and sensing systems
- Prior Lockout/Tagout experience
- Basic computer skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- PLC experience (basic coding and programming knowledge) preferred
- Technical degree preferred
- Experience with HVAC systems, compressed air, dust collection, and electrical distribution systems preferred
