The Maintenance Technician has a background in automation and robotics and is responsible for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. They will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, manage Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) documentation, and handle corrective repairs as needed.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensure reliable operation of production and automation equipment through troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Document maintenance activities accurately and maintain records in line with safety and compliance standards.
- Utilize computer-based control systems (HMI/CMMS) for monitoring and diagnostics.
- Maintain and properly care for all tools and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and patrols to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Demonstrate flexibility with shift scheduling as needed to support operations.
- Minimum of 2+ years of maintenance or automation experience.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 60 lbs, and work safely around machinery.
- Proficiency with computer software for reporting and documentation (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD is a plus.
- Education not required; equivalent hands-on experience accepted.
