Market Research Professional Overview:
Supports market research projects from planning through execution, with a focus on compliance, mandatory research, vendor management, and operational processes. Works with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights.

Market Research Professional Responsibilities
  • Manage, document, and improve processes related to mandatory research programs.
  • Support Medicaid and CMS-mandated research needs by collaborating with internal research teams.
  • Plan, execute, and improve processes for required research across both internal and external requirements.
  • Document and manage legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to mandatory research.
  • Support research operations by evaluating and streamlining workflows, vendor management, project tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and implement operational processes related to legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with research vendors, including contract management, vendor evaluations, reporting, performance management, and ongoing communication between vendors and internal teams)
  • Maintain operational and reporting tools to ensure accuracy and consistency, including project intake, compliance tracking, document storage, and team collaboration sites.
  • Assist other researchers with larger and more complex research projects and assignments.

Market Research Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Data Analytics, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of complex market research project management experience, managing projects from initial concept through execution and presentation.
  • 3+ years of experience managing research vendors, including contract negotiations, vendor evaluation, and serving as the liaison between internal business teams and vendors.
  • 3+ years of experience working with legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements related to healthcare research.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholder needs while delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience with CAHPS or CMS-mandated research requirements.
  • Strong market research background with experience using a variety of research methodologies.
  • Experience conducting research with diverse populations, including low-income, multicultural, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Previous experience in the health insurance industry.
