Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
CRM Administration & Marketing Process Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day CRM-related activities, including user assistance, data maintenance, and routine system administration.
- Maintain database integrity by managing contact records, account information, audience segmentation, list creation, and duplicate record resolution.
- Assist with marketing and sales processes by supporting campaign tracking, email audience development, and reporting functions.
- Create and maintain documentation related to CRM procedures and recommend enhancements that improve user adoption, efficiency, and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers to address CRM requirements and system improvements.
- Oversee the ordering, storage, tracking, and distribution of marketing materials, including printed collateral and promotional merchandise.
- Coordinate production schedules, shipping arrangements, and fulfillment activities for customers, events, and internal teams.
- Maintain both digital and physical repositories of approved marketing materials, ensuring employees have access to current versions.
- Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to support timely replenishment and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Develop and publish content across company social media channels in accordance with branding standards and marketing priorities.
- Maintain scheduling calendars and coordinate review and approval processes when necessary.
- Work with internal experts to convert technical information into engaging, audience-friendly content.
- Monitor key engagement indicators such as impressions, interactions, and click activity, and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Support the creation of video and digital content by assisting with planning, scripting, coordination, and production activities.
- Perform basic editing functions such as trimming footage, adding captions, and formatting content for various platforms.
- Organize logistics associated with content creation projects, including scheduling, locations, equipment, product samples, and stakeholder coordination.
- Manage and maintain approved creative assets, including photography, video clips, logos, and branded templates.
- Assist in promoting company-hosted and partner-sponsored events, including trade exhibitions, educational sessions, webinars, and training programs.
- Support event execution through preparation of marketing materials, promotional items, signage, attendee tracking processes, and follow-up activities.
- Contribute to event-related communications, including invitations, reminder messaging, post-event summaries, and reporting.
- Participate in the development and enhancement of marketing initiatives by contributing ideas for campaigns, communication channels, and audience engagement strategies.
- Gather feedback and insights from sales and product-focused teams to help ensure messaging aligns with customer interests and market demands.
- Perform competitive analysis by monitoring industry participants, marketing approaches, product positioning, and communication activities.
- Assist with quarterly reviews by compiling performance insights, documenting key learnings, and identifying opportunities for future improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience gained through internships or professional work.
- Strong organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Effective written communication skills and the ability to understand and communicate technical subject matter.
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple assignments, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to learn new software platforms and marketing technologies, including CRM, scheduling, design, and content creation tools.
- Experience using CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot, including contact management, list creation, and reporting functions.
- Exposure to business-to-business marketing, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or technical industries.
- Experience developing and publishing content for professional and social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Familiarity with design and content creation software such as Canva, Adobe applications, or video editing tools including Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
