The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for assisting in projects and applications with initial design and final design solutions.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Develops Equipment General Arrangement drawings as well as Plant Layouts
  • Conceptualize plans, details, and sections to accurately convey construction or fabrication requirements
  • Prepare and develop 2D CAD designs under the supervision of the lead piping designer or engineer • Develops 3D models of fabricated, skidded systems for shop assembly
  • Check drawings and designs for assembly and manufacturability
  • Ensure compliance with approve design standards, to provide quality design
  • Coordinate vendor supplied drawings or information into project drawings
  • Draft piping drawings and isometrics
  • Prepare Bill of Material
  • Communicate and interface with other engineering disciplines

Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required with at least 3-5 years of experience
  • Must be familiar with piping specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions, plot plans, flow diagrams and interpreting vendor information
  • Thoroughly skillful in AutoCAD and Inventor 3D drafting of engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of and experience with piping system design especially for skidded equipment used in water, wastewater, chemical processing, petroleum processing, etc.
