Key Responsibilities
- Perform specific portions of engineering activities involving the design of equipment, systems, components, structures, etc.
- Mechanical engineering design of steam and chemical process equipment and systems.
- Gather and organize information to be used for developing the design, specifications, and drawings of mechanical equipment.
- Development of piping and instrumentation drawings.
- Assist higher-level engineers in large projects with review, check, and assembly of design packages, engineering calculations, etc.
- Lead mechanical engineer on small projects
- Review of engineering design documents and vendor data.
- Attend appropriate technical conferences and/or training as assigned.
Key Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree with 0-5 years of experience.
- EIT or PE preferred
- Ansys CFD and FEA experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility and interest in some international travel.
- Demonstration of working well within a team atmosphere is preferred.
