Medical Surgical Telemetry RN Job Description
The MS/Tele RN position requires a highly skilled RN with a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience on Med Surg Tele units in a hospital setting, 18 months of which needs to be perm/ non travel experience. The nurse will be expected to float to like units as needed. Patient ratios are typically 1:5. Experience with Epic within the past year is also recommended.
Medical Surgical Telemetry RN Key Responsibilities:
- Float to units as needed
- Start/maintain IVs and draw blood
- Chart using Epic
Medical Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
- 2+ years of recent MS/TELE RN experience
- 18 months of experience perm MS/Tele
- Holds active AHA ACLS and BLS certifications
- Holds an active NIHSS certification or is willing to obtain upon offer
