Medical Assistant
Delray Beach, FL

The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. This role works closely with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient daily clinic operations.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Room patients and obtain medical histories while documenting information in the EMR.
  • Take and record vital signs.
  • Administer injections and assist with routine clinical procedures within certification scope.
  • Perform diagnostic testing, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.
  • Sterilize equipment and maintain clean, organized examination rooms.
  • Assist physicians and nurses with direct patient care.
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide administrative support and deliver excellent customer service in a high-volume clinical environment.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook and other computer systems to support daily operations.

Medical Assistants Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of back-office Medical Assistant experience providing direct patient care.
  • Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registration (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook.
  • Willingness to complete TB screening upon hire.

Medical Assistant Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Hands-on professional phlebotomy experience.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR).
  • Experience with HEDIS quality measures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Active ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification.
