Position Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities
Compensation: $35.50 – (includes $2.50 shift differential)
Starting at for new hires, with annual increases based on experience, up to after 20+ years.
Full-Time Annual Earnings: $73,840 – $106,080 (~$1,420 – ; average or $2,549 bi-weekly)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (distributed in three installments)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely review patient charts, data, and screening forms to ensure MRI procedures comply with safety standards and protocols.
  • Perform high-quality MRI exams on patients of all ages and conditions, adhering to established technical protocols.
  • Conduct daily quality assurance (QA) checks to maintain optimal equipment performance and image quality.
  • Educate and comfort patients before, during, and after procedures, fostering a calming environment.
  • Monitor MRI equipment during procedures, troubleshooting and reporting malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Mentor and support new team members and radiology students, sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Accurately complete billing and documentation processes using the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Stay current with industry advancements through ongoing professional development, trainings, and certifications.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (AAS or BS preferred).
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography (R), Sonography (S), MRI (T), or Nuclear Medicine (N) through ARRT or CNMT through NMTCB.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI safety, and pathology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist or in related imaging modalities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and assisting patients and heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
  • Frequent pushing and pulling of equipment and supplies.
